One of the games we played as children was to look up to the clouds and see what images we saw.
To my mind, I might see one thing.
To my friend’s mind, he might see a totally different image.
Clouds are good metaphors for the events and situations in our lives — They are all transient.
To my mind, I might see a situation as good.
But, to another person, they might see the same situation as worrisome… or even bad.
Whether considered good, bad or worrisome, the event will always be transient.
Clouds exist between two permanent elements — The Earth and The Sky.
We can think of our body as The Earth element — filled with its abundance and growth.
We can see that The Earth is our physical self.
But, where is our spiritual self?
What in Heaven and Earth can we see that will represent it?
What can we hold in our minds that will encapsulate the limitlessness and cosmic intelligence of our spiritual self?
What will encompass not only The Stars and Heavens… but also The Earth?
Looking up, I only see one thing that can begin to represent all that.
My True connection to The Oneness with Divintity.
Not The Earth — Not The Clouds — But, what encompasses it ALL is The Sky.
So, why do we focus on clouds?
