When we think of Electricity, we normally think of sticking a plug into a wall socket to power our devices. But in reality, Electricity is all around us. We can’t escape it. It powers our TVs and radios. It’s in lightning and the synapses inside our body. We see it working in distant stars and planets. It is a part of Life. When Life is born, Electricity is there. When a thought is born, Electricity is there. It is one of the Five Life Forces. These are Vitality, Warmth, Magnetism, Light and Electricity.
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, and moved to Europe 27 years ago, in 1988. A speaker of three languages (English, Dutch, and French), I have a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science. I have worked for years as a biochemist, toxicologist, and phlebotomist in America and in Belgium. In nearly three decades abroad, I have also pursued an active interest in spirituality. I have traveled to various ashrams, pilgrimage sites, and meditation centers in India, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain, and New York City. I have also explored Catholicism in Italy, Hinduism in India, Taoism in China, and Islam in Turkey. On my journey, gurus, channels, and avatars have met privately with me, and I have been able to question them freely about spirituality. For example, since my first meeting with Sri Ganapati in 1993, several of my meetings with him have been filmed and photographed. Moreover, all of my talks with the channel, White Bull, have been cassette recorded since 1996. Along the way, I have learned many techniques surrounding affirmations, meditation, and prayer. I have condensed six of these techniques into the three-book series, “The Six Steps of Scientific Prayer.”In the course of working in various laboratories, I have always seen spirituality in science and science in spirituality. Studying and working as a full-time Scientist helped me to think “scientifically” and to apply scientific thought to many areas of my life, including spirituality. This unique combination and my experience in both fields helped me to write “The Six Steps of Scientific Prayer” and inspired its title.
