All religions speak of how we, as Human Beings, are Divine. As we are Divine, religious techniques help us attune our thoughts to the one, great, source of our own Divinity – Universal Consciousness. In part, they teach us different methods on how we can harmonize our thoughts and actions with the mysterious and dynamic nature of God. The main techniques of religions are prayer, affirmations and meditation. These both direct our thoughts in different directions. With prayer, we try to harmonize our desires with God’s Will. With affirmations, we try to harmonize our thoughts with one of God’s numerous aspects. With meditation, we try to harmonize our thoughts with God’s Essence. Prayer and affirmations are directed more outwards. Meditation is directed more inwards. Mantras are used in all three techniques. Through these basic practices, we come to realize that we, as human beings, are both transmitters and receptors. We each have the ability to send thoughts to and receive thoughts from both our Collective Consciousness and Universal Consciousness.

He speaks three languages (English, Dutch, and French), and has a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science. He has worked for years as a Biochemist, Toxicologist and Lab Technician in America, France and Belgium. He has also had an active interest in spirituality for three decades. Having traveled to various ashrams, pilgrimage sites, and meditation centers in India, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain, and New York City, he came across spiritual techniques used in Catholicism in Italy, Hinduism in India, Orthodox Catholicism in Montenegro, Taoism in China, and Islam in Turkey. On his journeys, he met privately with several spiritual guides and masters. All of them were open to questions about spirituality and why certain techniques were done. Many of his questions were about techniques surrounding affirmations, meditation, and prayer. The books Xavier writes condense six of these techniques into a series of unique books -- “The Six Steps of Scientific Prayer.”
