“Think Positive!”… we tell others and ourselves. But, when we suggest this, what ideas are we directing our mind towards? Is it only to help us extinguish a trend of negative ideas we are having? We could find ourselves thinking about some impending disaster and then, to remove our dark and obsessive thoughts, think of a variety of things that are “positive” to help us feel less anxious.
Why does it help?
One reason might be because a Positive Thought is hundreds of times more powerful than a Negative thought. A positive thought brings us Light. A negative thought brings us darkness. When we are obsessing negatively over a “problem” for a long period of time, a few positive thoughts in this way can eliminate that darkness. But the opposite does not seem to be as true. That is to say, that when we are obsessing positively over something for a long period of time, it is harder for a few negative thoughts to eliminate that Light. At the most, it will bring our feet back to Earth… but we won’t descend into the dark hell of our obsessive negative thoughts.
A good trick to do is to write out our positive thoughts. A variant of this is how many people start writing out “The Pros” and “The Cons” of a problem they are having. Writing is a POWERFUL TOOL to overcome just about any problem we have. Writing followed by an ACTION can help us tackle anything! With writing, the Light that is attached to that positive thought flows through your mind, your spine, your hand, and through every cell of your body.
But, there is a third realm we can direct our thoughts to – namely, “Abundant Thinking”.
Abundant Thinking is different than Positive Thinking. Positive Thinking is related to thinking of something outside of yourself. What triggers it is something you want to become, change, manifest, or bring into your Life. “Everyday is getting better and better”. “I will pass my exam tomorrow”. “This time next year I will start my successful business”. These are some examples of Positive Thinking.
However, Abundant Thinking is remembering who you REALLY are. The REAL YOU that is an inextricaple part of The Abundant Universal Mind we all were born from. “I am one with Divine Abundance”. “I am my Perfect Good”. “I am one with The Pure Joy and Light within and around me”. These are some examples of Abundant Thinking. When Abundant Thought becomes a daily habit, you evoke Light within you and slowly become a channel between the manifested and unmanifested realms of our reality. Your abundant thoughts place you between the subtle and the physical worlds. You are a link between the tangible and the intangible.
The subtle, intangible, unmanifested realm of Life is full of abundance, transcendence, and Light.
A negative thought focuses your mind on what you are lacking.
A positive thought focuses your mind on what you are wanting.
An abundant thought focuses your mind on what you are.
So, if a Positive thought is hundreds of times more powerful than a Negative thought, an Abundant thought is hundreds of times more powerful than a Positive thought.
